The Senator's Daughter
The Story
We bought this Victorian century home in 2019. We have poured our hearts and souls into this beautiful painted lady. We are hoping you enjoy the stained glass windows, antique woodwork and classic Victorian architecture.
The Past
Our painted lady was built in 1885 and was well maintained by four families prior to our ownership. We look forward to sharing the history of this timeless home with you.
The Future
Lucky 13 Charter Boat coming in 2026.

Words cannot easily express how much we loved our B&B experience with Melissa. Her home is gorgeous, the food beyond our expectations. We have family in the area and will definitely stay there again. Melissa has a delightful personality, and we fell in love with her. We loved all the beauty of her home and yard. And, if you love dogs, she has two precious dogs. She kept them away until we convinced her to let us see them. She rocks!

They are wonderful hosts and really go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Our second time here and it was just as amazing as the first. Missy and Dale are above and beyond fabulous. I can’t say enough about this property and the hosts. The house is beautifully decorated Victorian style with beautiful antiques. The room and bed are very comfortable and it has a great location. 5 miles from the wineries and plenty to do in the area.
Missy And Dale greeted us and gave us home, made muffins . They prepared a breakfast that is better than the Ritz Carlton, and was a pleasure to socialize and their wine room in the evening. We are definitely coming back at least four times a year and I totally recommend this to everyone in the area. You cannot go wrong. ….Fabulous place best I’ve been to and staying at Air any Airbnb.

We had a beautiful time here at the Senator’s Daughter. Missy and Dale were very kind hosts and quick to communicate, accommodate, and answer all my questions beforehand. You can tell they have a true passion for hosting and also for their beautiful home they have renovated. The home has a unique architecture and design and you feel as if you are staying at a refined place from another time period! Even from the curb, this place will catch your eye. Missy and Dale were kind and warm and worked hard to make us feel at home. Missy made us a homemade breakfast in the morning which was absolutely delicious! We had a lot of laughs at the breakfast table😃 The hosts were also able to give us good local recommendations for wineries and outdoor activities. Again, it is very clear they have a passion for what they do. We recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back again!

Melissa hosted us during our two night stay to see the solar eclipse. We had a fantastic stay and the house is gorgeous with modern amenities. This is a true bed and breakfast experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. Melissa was super friendly and made us an awesome home-cooked breakfast to start each day. Her dogs are super friendly too. Jefferson is a nice quiet little town that I would like to visit again sometime and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!
